Cody brings 25 years of oil and gas experience in the landuse management, regulatory, environmental and civil earthwork construction fields. Cody has spent many years as a regulatory professional as an Alberta Regulatory Forest Officer; Landuse Coordinator at Peace River Pulp Mill (DMI); Land Agent for various major and junior oil and gas companies; Senior Landuse Coordinator for Atco Electric; Devon Canada Lands/Construction Manager for Jackfish/Pike Heavy Oil Thermal projects; Senior Land Agent & Lands Coordinator for Access Pipeline 42’’ NEX Heavy Oil project… just to name a few. Cody has consulted for many oil and gas, utility, and energy sector companies and has been involved with hundreds of gas, light oil, and heavy oil projects in western Canada.

Kenny brings a wealth of forestry, lands and environmental regulatory experience to Cokel. Kenny spent 23 years as a Forest Officer with the Alberta Government and another 7 years as an Environmental Protection Officer as an Environmental Investigator (Peace Officer). Kenny possesses great leadership qualities that earns mutual respect, trust and confidence with Cokel staff and Cokel's valued clients. He is very personable and is a definite asset to our team. He excels in areas such as detailed project management and communication. Kenny always works towards continual improvement in all of Cokel's operations.

Joining the Cokel team in 2013 as the Manager of Occupational Health and Safety, Mike is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional and a Professional Forest Technologist who has enjoyed a long career in the forestry and natural resource sectors. Mike has considerable experience working both operationally and in an OHS capacity in a wide variety of areas including road and block layout for conventional and cable/heli-logging, forest inventory (ground and aerial photo interpretation), timber production auditing, environmental site assessments, upstream oil and gas operations, and wildfire. In addition to Mike’s natural resources work, he has also worked as an OHS Advisor to Alberta Justice, and is currently the president of the Alberta Society of Health and Safety Professionals. Mike is currently a certified consultant health and safety auditor with Energy Safety Canada, as well as an internal auditor for the ACSA.
